Dear Cath and Jack,
Just want to let you know what an amazing time we had on the Mary Ellen 111.
Mum in her earlier years was a very keen fisher and she and Dad were quite well known in Stockton as the best fishing folk around for many, many years. They loved fishing and Mum loved getting out on the water.
The cruise on Saturday more than lived up to expectations, it gave Mum so much pleasure, my sister and I have not seen her so happy for a long time.
Mum loved cruising around the harbour and she enjoyed seeing all the activities on the water, which brought so many wonderful memories back to her.
But it was when Jack turned the boat towards the bridge and threw the Mary Ellen into full throttle, with the wind blowing through her hair and on her face, she really expressed how much fun she was having with whoops of laughter and egging Jack on to go faster.
My sister and I have no hesitation in recommending an outing on the Mary Ellen for anyone wishing to experience a wonderful day out.
The hospitality shown by First Mate Cath and the attention to detail to make sure everyone is having a great time was outstanding. Captain Jack’s knowledge of the working harbour was an added bonus and we certainly felt safe in both their very experienced hands.
Looking Forward to taking Mum out again to celebrate her 90th birthday in December.
Thanks for the adventure.
